1. Remove Apxium Scheduled Task
Click on the start menu and search for “task scheduler” or press Win+R, type taskschd.msc
and click OK.
Click on the “Task Scheduler (Local)/Task Scheduler Library” tab on the left, if it isn’t already selected, find the Apxium task and right click on it and select “Delete”.
The Apxium Software will no longer run.
2. Remove Apxium Files
Open your file manager, navigate to either C:\Program Files
or C:\Program Files (x86)
, locate the Apxium folder and delete it.
In some circumstances the subscriber company or IT may have requested it stored elsewhere.
3. Remove Apxium Database User
Open your database manager, such as Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio, connect to the subscriber company’s database server, navigate to the company’s accounting package database (for example Server01/DatabaseName/VPMSER) and open the Security/Users directory. Remove the Apxium user you find here by right clicking it and selecting Delete. A new window will appear, simply press OK to remove the Apxium database user.
4. Remove Apxium Database Server user
Whilst still in your database manager, navigate to the the security directory at the base of the server directory tree (for example Server01/Security). Open the “Logins” folder and remove the Apxium user you find here by selecting Delete. A new window will appear, simply press OK to remove the Apxium database user, a warning will display noting that the database users will not be automatically removed, but since you have removed them previously, you can press OK to remove the Apxium server user.
5. Remove Java Runtime Environment
The Apxium software requires Java to run, if you are sure no other software on your system require Java, you can uninstall it through the control panel.
No Apxium related software, files or settings should remain on your system.
